Trasa biegu przebiega w całości po plaży. Trudna i wymagająca trasa dała w tegorocznej edycji zawodnikom najlepszy czas 3:27:19. W tym biegu najtrudniejsze było zmierzenie się ze sobą i z własnymi ograniczeniami, a także dobra taktyka i rozłożenie sił.
X Bałtycki Maraton Brzegiem Morza zwyciężył Rafał Budnicki z Dream Run Warszawa z czasem 3:27:19. Stawkę kobiet wygrała Aleksandra Jachimczyk z Parkrun Chrzanów z czasem 4:00:45. Oboje są już weteranami tej imprezy, Rafał w zeszłym roku był drugi w open, a Aleksandra startowała w Bałtyckim Maratonie od początku i za każdym razem stawała na podium.
